1996 Cadillac Fleetwood

I have always liked luxury vehicles and this fits all I like. In vehicle discription there should be a verification of power eqipement operation such as seats,windows, doors, cigarette lighters,turn signals ,interior lights. Also do radioes and other such equipement work. It is frustrating to think this is functional and woowwy it doesn't. All safety equipement needs to be certified operational or the sale should not be consumated. It could be a condition of liability and not buyer "as is".

I was looking for a resonably priced limo to have a little fun with and resell at a later date. When the reserve price was met, I made up my mind I was going to try my best to buy this unit. The communication was great with the seller. The car was 600 miles from me but that in itself gave us something to do for a weekend. Was able to meet new people and the cool thing is, they were alot like us and was very good to meet them. I recomend eBay for everyone. Simple to navagate and is so much fun, even if you don't win that item. There are more, you can bet on it.

I didnt get the chance to buy it cuase the seller didnt want to honor my winning bid and didnt want to settle on my price. It was a waste of my time of how I waited to make sure I would win the bid and just to get denide on my bid sucked and wouldnt want to experience that again.

Very happy with the car. Pleasantly surprised that the gas mileage is better than expected. Very comfortable, nice ride.

This is the best car I have ever owned and I believe should you own one of those you would never wanna go back to others .LT1 engine is just brilliant and you can also modify it easily when you want .Some guys call Fleetwoods "The Cadillac of Cadillacs" and you can see what they mean when you drive one of them . Besides that you can get considerably great mileage for a car of this size .
Only weak point I would say is water pumps but bear in mind that all other LT1 engines may suffer from water pumps and leaks affect adversely opti spark system .Other than that I find LT1 engines near impeccable .I can't vouch for L05 engines which was used in 1993 model RWD ones .
Fuel gauge is also shaky but you know you should not run your cars below a quarter tank of fuel therefore you wouldn't shorten life of your fuel pumps and fend off running out of fuel . Again,that fuel gauge culprit is not solely for 1993-96 Fleetwoods and Fleetwood Broughams .
We don't have RPM gauge which I miss that but bear in mind none of Rolls Royce cars also come with that aside from Phantoms .I would like to see a trip computer as well . Anyway, those are all personal choices and I believe who would care about RPM,trip computer and as much when you drive the finest Cadillac .Chrome trim is also excellent and it just exudes class and makes a huge difference over cheap plastic bumpers .
Cadillac should have made them more that's for sure

I like the LT-1 engine in all model cars GM has built. The Fleetwood series with this engine gets 22 miles to the gallon or better on the highway every tankful so far. On the return trip from Vegas, I got 22.4 miles to the gallon and averaged 71.3 mph for the whole trip back to Kansas.
The comfort and ride can not be matched by any car being sold today. For the money this is the best purchase anyone who wants comfort and performance can make.
