2002 BMW 3-Series

I did own a BMW 330 with the upgraded sports package upgrade. The automatic windows, that move up when you close/lock the doors was a pain in the rear end to have fixed and it was expensive. These failed twice before I got rid of the car. I now own/drive a Cadillac Eldorado ETC. It's a much nicer car, I bit more expensive, but worth it. The Eldo has a lot more get up and go. It's surprisingly a better performance car than most of the so called "sports" cars out on the highways. I recommend the Cadillac Touring Coupe Eldorado over the BMW 3-Series. Setup to a Caddy!!!! : )

I love my new Bimmer. I had wanted one for a long time, but didn't think it would be within my price range. eBay prices allowed me to step up to the 330 Xi model with the larger engine and all wheel drive. The tight steering, fantastic handling, and confident throaty breath of the engine are what makes BMW worthwhile. The fit and finish of all components inside and out is unparalleled by any other car I've experienced in this price range. The car is both beautiful, sporty, and luxurious without being overly pretentious. Though my one month has not given me enough time to accurately report on reliability, the commentary I have read before deciding to abandon Japanese reliability in favor of German driving experience leads me to believe I have little to fear from my 330. Reliability of other BMW models seems to be not as high, but the 3-series is BMW's bread and butter, by far their most popular model. They seem to have quality production down on this one. The 3.0 liter I6 is regarded as one of best engines ever produced. If you have been looking at a Lexus or Infinity, you should test drive a BMW.
