There's not much that I can add to all of the glowing professional and owner reviews of this amazing car. BMW is nothing if not quality. From the tires to the roof, bumper to bumper, this is truly an ultimate driving machine. There's not a cheap piece of plastic to be found. Everything is where you need it and there is more power than any American road (legally) allows.
The 335i coupe is a perfect blend of luxury and performance. You get where you want with gobs of hp and torque in any gear and do so stylishly. You'll love every mile and minute sitting in the driver's seat. My friends are in line waiting to drive it. A litany of "I get to drive it next!" fills my ears. I may have to charge for rides...
RE design- the '07 coupe will stay current for some time to come. There are no plans for a major restyling until 2012. So, this design has a lot of life left in it. After that, it will be a classic!
And if a perfect car is not enough for you, you'll adore the way BMW takes care of its customers. With BMW Assist, you're never alone. Someone is always a button away to offer you help with anything. And the company backs their cars up with a 4 year/50,000 maintenance plan that puts other car manufacturers to shame. Brake pads worn? Need new wiper blades? Oil change? No problem. Just bring her in and it's done. No charge. And they treat you like royalty: "Have a scone, enjoy the wall-sized plasma tv, while we take care of your car." Personally, I sit in the showroom cars, imagining how I will take the corners in an Alpina B7 or the various M cars!
Flat tire? The car will let you know. Just slow down a little and try to get to your local tire repair store or BMW center in the next 100-150 miles. Run-flats are better than you've heard they are. I think the ride is a perfect balance between sport and comfort. I don't even notice I'm on run-flats (except when I actually got a flat). The biggest plus is safety. You will never see a recent model BMW on the side of a busy freeway with its owner changing the tire. I guarantee it! Let me know if you ever see this impossible sight.
Goodness, it gets better. The on-board computer system is so complete and informative, I still haven't seen or used it all. If you like buttons and features, you'll sit in your garage just playing with the dash, lit up in a subtle but warm amber glow. The stereo is better than most custom set-ups. Plenty of control over the sound, mucho options, with a wonderfully powerful and clean output. With subs under your seats, a surround sound system, and speakers everywhere, you will never hear your music better.
And finally (though I could go on and on about my awesome Bimmer), the positive experience one gets with owning a car, especially a pre-owned model, is commensurate with the experience one has with the dealer. Much like my car, I can't say enough good things about Elite Motorsports and its owner, SW. This great guy knows cars and loves cars. He bubbles with enthusiasm when talking about cars. He gave me a thorough tour of my car and then his entire store! He took me behind the scenes, all the way to the garage. Much to my delight, the garage was as clean as the showroom. Now, if that doesn't say it all, I don't know what could. I'll finish it with this: even though I can't imagine ever retiring my beautiful 3, when that day comes, I'll be heading back to Elite Motorsports for my next ride.
BMW - 11 stars
Elite Motorsports - 11 stars
(10 just isn't enough!)
