Cadillac XLR

If this is the car I bought from US Auto Sales Inc (5/20/08. We were sadely disappointed in our purchase on Ebay. It took us weeks to get our original purchase money back and we are still out $1000.00 that we are unable to collect. To say nothing about the cost of registering the car and the taxes.
This car was in a very bad accident and glued together by some body shop. I have pages and pages of problems with this car from our local caddilac dealer and a cd of pictures. They draged out returning my money long enough, I was unable to write a report. This was definately fraud.

Good car would buy another one. I like the style and ride. I wish it had a little more horse power. Handling is good, insterments are located where you can see them good. I hope they keep making this car.

The vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive. It has a lot of nice driving features. For the sports car enthusiats, it is great luxury sports car. It is a shame that Cadillac is ceasing production of this car.

I love my 2008 Cadillac XLR. She is a head turner without a doubt. So comfortable and FAST. Equiped with all the creature comforts anyone could ask for and more. If you are looking for a beautiful, luxery, sports car this is the car for you.

Can't find these cars these days for under $30,000 anywhere that are in excellent condition AND have the Cadillac CPO - Certified Pre Owned Luxury warranty. Sure, if you buy a newer one with the factory warranty, they can be found in excellent condition with a warranty, but those are $35,000 and up. I had one previously, best car on the road, best car I ever had. It was stolen and wrecked, and insurance paid me full market value, at least so it seemed. Now, I can't replace it with the same extra clean unit for under $30,000.

But, if your considering the XLR, you will be absolutely impressed. This car is truly a dream, a hot rod and full luxury in one car. Good luck on your search, you will not be disappointed with this car.

was an awesome purchase my mother wanted one of these for a really long time now. we found one on ebay, was everything we thought it would be. she is as happy as can be with the car in perfect condition. so thank you ebay for your website, without it we would have not known that there was such a great deal so close to home like that.

I love the auto and it gets questions from those who see it. The deal went just as I expected though the paperwork on getting the auto took longer than expected. Based on Performance, Reliablility, Comfort and queality and Craftsmanship one has to work hard and spend more money generally, to get the same quality of car. Again, the seller did a great job and the vehicle came as advertised.

I read other reviews on this car before I purchased it in December 2008. Other reviewers had the same comparisons I did which were the Corvette and the SL 500. I owned a 2004 Corvette Commemorative Convertible in 2008. I chose that model since I wanted an all tan interior because in my opinion, the black dash and black steering wheel looked so cheap. I agree with another reviewer in that the C5 has great exterior styling and performance but the interior compares to a Firebird or Camaro which isn't saying much. In addition, the C5 convertible had significant road noise with the top up since it is a ragtop, not a coupe with less sound insulation, it is low to the ground and because the tires are so big. After driving the XLR, in my opinion, there is absolutely no comparison between the two cars. The performance, handling and interior finish of the XLR is far superior. I am not a motor head by any means but this the finest driving car I have ever owned. I also liked the 2003+ SL 500 since it has more interior cabin storage and a sweeping dash layout. However, exterior wise, in my opinion, the SL 500 doesn't hold a candle to the XLR. There is nothing else like it on the road. In my opinion, it looks like a James Bond car. My only minor complaint is that I wish the drivers seat moved back a bit more. If you are over 6 feet tall, this car may not be big enough for you. While others complained, the trunk storage with the top down is not a problem for me...

What is not to like about the best Cadillac Roadster ever built in the United States. It looks better than it's cousin the Corvette and rides like a Cadillac is supposed to ride, luxuriously. My wife saw an XLR owned by a neighbor and had to have one. GM didn't spare any bells or whistles when they loaded up the automobile with options that are all standard.
