What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2000 Lincoln Town Car: Deceptive Car Buying

I bought a 2000 Lincoln Town Car a week ago and was very disappointed. According to the description and pictures on eBay it was a very nice car. After receiving the car it was not as it was described. It had 100,000 or more miles on it and it was obvious there had been a lot of body work done and had been repainted. Did not have a clear title, because I have not received one yet. Myself, like many others, rely on correct reliable information when considering buying a product.

2002 Lincoln Town Car: 2002 Lincoln Town Car from RLB of Ft Worth

I have several years experience purchasing items, mostly old baseball gloves, off eBay and was looking for a well maintained, used Lincoln Town Car, black in color. One morning, there was a new listing from RLB Auto Group of Fort Worth. When printed, their offer ran to fourteen pages (many pictures). The eBay "feedback" for RLB was most promising and bouyed my confidence in buying an automobile through eBay. I called their representative to discuss the car and, subsequently, made an offer at their "Buy it Now" price. Within days, I flew to Ft Worth, visited their showroom, signed the papers and took delivery of the car (after having lunch with the entire crew including the owner, salespersons and auto maintenance staff; the joint lunch is a Friday routine at RLB Auto Group). On delivery, the car, a 2002 model with just over 10,000 miles, was clean throughout. I drove to Mount Vernon IL that afternoon and the remaining distance home the following day. The car performed perfectly.
When I took delivery, there was no owners manual or floor mats in the car and there was a missing "cover" over a seat belt attachment. Luckily, I found an owners manual plus the 2-volume Workshop Manual on eBay. The floor mats and "cover" were available through a local Lincoln dealer.
I was interested in purchasing a Lincoln Town Car because I drive my 87-year old mother around the city and countryside and it provides ease of access and egress. My wife travels and I drive her to and froom local airports weekly; the trunk is more than ample for her luggage. The Town Car fits my needs perfectly.
RLB Auto Group sells only through eBay and proved to be represented by an excellent staff. I do not see how the automobile one needs cannot be located through eBay Motors.

1988 Lincoln Town Car: 1988 Lincoln Town Car Hearse

This is one unbelievable car that has only been driven 98K miles in 22 years and is just like new. It gets great gas mileage. Has super cold AC,drives like a dream,no rattles, weird noise,no wind sounds around windows. It's a real eye catcher that you can be proud to drive . I like every thing about it. I have not found anything I dislike about this car. My reason for buying it was simple I like the style and reliability of the Lincoln brand and to find a Lincoln Hearse in this condition was a must have ride.
Thanks for reading my review of this fine automobile and have a great day.

1993 Lincoln Town Car: 1993 Loncoln Town Car

My nephew bought a similar car at an estate sale with the intention of cleaning the car and selling it, but after he drove the car he was very impressed with the vehicle and the comfort and the luxurious feel of the car.

The Town Cars of this era 1990-1996 have a distincive, clean, and stylish look about them and to drive one is pure luxury. My brothers both would love to have one and my oldest said to me the other day, "Do we have to get out of the car or can we just take our naps in here!"

The only negative is the dashboard and the fact that everything is electric and if something needs to be fixed it costs mega-bucks to repair. If you are considering one of these opt for the upgraded stereo system (Bose) if it is offered on the model. Earlier years have AM/FH Cassette tapes and some have the CD option. CD is the way to go. Also the option of a moon roof is nice. Not a fan of vinyl roofs though.

Cars from the early and mid 90's have a different look about them with keen lines and nice styling. Cars today all look generic and cookie cutter mode. These Lincoln Town Cars of this era were masterfully designed and built by Ford and I would love to have another with all my desired bells and whistles.

Should you have an opportunity to own one do your due dilligence, I think you will be pleased with the performance and the appeal of these Town Cars.

1998 Lincoln Town Car: Buyer Beware!!

Looks can be deceiving. This vehicle sure looked good in the pictures. It looked good coming off the truck as well. That was until we tried to use the heater and found that the entire system had been juryrigged to bypass the heater to make the ac function due to a smashed heater core. Had to rip out the entire dash. Before I could get this car on the road, we put over $1,000 into repairs. To make matters worse, I bought two cars from the same Florida dealer. Both required extensive mechanical work before they could be road worthy. Each car cost me over $1,000 to repair. The Dealer, Southern Car Bargains (not such a bargain!!) offered to take the cars back, but we had $1,000 in shipping costs on the cars and it would have cost the same to send them back. I had already paid sales tax and tags on the Lincoln before the heater problem was discovered. I asked for some financial consideration from Southern Car, they, of course, did not respond. BUYER BEWARE!!

2008 Lincoln Town Car: SIGNATURE L, GREAT CAR

I was looking for a four door car with enough leg room in the rear seat for passengers without having to move the driver's seat forward to give the passengers enough leg room for their comfort. The Town Car Signature L has a five inch stretch in the back seat which gives the rear seat passengers ample room without crowding the driver. The pundits reviews say the Town Car is outdated and an airport limo. There's plenty of reasons its used by fleet operators which is a solid endorsement of the vehicle. It is a good value for the money compared to the prices of equivalent foreign iron, it doesn't break, it has better performance than I expected, it gets decent gas mileage for a big car, (and the "L" is a big car)it rides beautifully, the interior is comfortable and durable. Hopefully Ford will keep a classic full size rear wheel drive four door in the mix after 2011

1998 Lincoln Town Car: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME W THIS SELLER!

I purchased the 1998 limo that is now relisted on Ebay. Seller told me after I won no reserve Auction that he could not sell as he had a higher offer on the vehicle outside of ebay. He lied he relisted the vehicle and did not want to sell the car for the max winning bid of $3350.00 You will get taken by this seller dont waste your time bidding. I am sure the car is completely misrepresented aswell if you were to see limo in person. People like this seller should not be on Ebay. He also bids the vehicle up with family and friends his auctions are bogus dont waste your time. I am currently working with ebay to have this seller removed from the ebay community. He has violated many terms and conditions of selling on ebay and I am very unhappy about this. Do Not waste your time or money with this seller. Not a good experience.

My wife and I drove to Augusta to pick up the car. It was exactly as described in the listing. We visited with the sellers, ate lunch and drove 300 miles home. The car has not given any problems. The highway mpg at 70 mph pegs 27. Throw in some hills and 75 mph and you are looking at 25.5 mpg. I meticulously check the tire pressure, which definitely pays for itself at the pump. Would gladly do business with the sellers again.
