What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: 2004 Ford Thunderbird - Triple Black

• Overall Satisfaction:
I had been shopping a number of specific vehicles for months search for just the right one that delivered great value, fun, uniqueness, and most importantly, one that I looked good in! When my 2004 triple black Ford Thunderbird appeared on the listings I thought this is too good to be true and worried that other T-Bird enthusiasts would be all over this car. As it turned out, the reserve was not met but I was the high bidder and when the dealer called soon after closing I said to myself, this is it, this car is mine. The car was shipped right on schedule and is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! It is everthing I thought it would be and more! And, talk about a fun ride! Hardtop on or off, ragtop up or down, the car is a beauty! The car glistens like new inside and out. everthing that should be with the car came with it. Hardtop rack, hardtop cover, convertible boot, coin cup/ash tray, and all the keys, manuals, original window sticker, etc. It was a great experience working with eBay Motors.

This is a modern retro version of the the first Thunderbird from 1955 and the '56 with the porthole window. People ask me if it's new or old. They can't tell. It's the car I used to see as a child and wanted, only updated. It flies. There is always more under the hood when you need it. The interior is just beautiful. So much thought went into every detail to make it retro. The gauges look 50's in the day and contemporary in the night. The doors look like the feathers in a bird's wings when opened. The leather steering wheel has the vinyl piece on top just to remind you of the old days. I wanted this car from the moment I saw it in 2001 but waited for the 50th anniversary limited cashmere edition. Bought it on eBay and saved a ton of money. The thermostat went but it's still under warranty and Ford made good on everything. It's a muscle car.

1963 Ford Thunderbird: Ford Thunderbird I bought.

The car was discribed as driveible but needing tires. The tires were the least of the problems. The rear shocks were smasched to the point were they made the car sound as though it was falling apart when the slighted bump was run over. The interier was described as needing some work. The picture showed a slight seam being open on the front seat. However the seat back was torn to pieces. There was no head liner which was not menationed. The body was in good condition as the pictures showed.

This is a fun car. First of all its crazy looking. The body lines look like what some 1960s engineer dreamed up based on what he thought the future would be. Kind of a cross between some sort of small limo and sports car. Surprisingly its not any bigger than most mid size vehicles of today.

The best part of the car though for me is the interior. It's beautifully styled. Lots of fun details. The Smell of vinyl and leather will immediately take you back to the days when you were a kid riding in the back seat of your parents old car. The back seat has contoured leather that feels like you're sitting in some private booth at a jazz lounge. It was, after all ,the luxury car of its day. Even the front seats are curved to wrap around your back cradling you in.

The cockpit has a spaceship feel with big dials and airplane like levers up above. Even The speedometer is different than anything you've seen. Its a red line that creeps across the big raised numbers like a stick of dynamite fuse. Ford designed all the levers and switches to feel like you were piloting an airplane. All kinds of little gadgets that at the time were probably state of the art. Now they just make you smile at their simplicity of function.

If you are looking for something loud with a rumble that screams "this car goes fast", then stick with the Cudas, Camaros and Chargers. But If you want a stylin' cruiser that makes modern cars look rediculously boring these 64-66 Tbirds can still be found at a great deal. I found a great car with a luxury interior for under 5K. Which is hard to do with mopars, chevys or even mustangs. And remember that 390 in the Tbird still has enough punch to surprise the soccer mom in the SUV next to you at the light who thinks she needs to beat you to the single lane ahead because she doesn't want to get stuck behind some old car. Punch it Chewy!

Best of luck. God Bless
