What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

It is the best value on the market for a luxury vehicle. The ride is smooth and not stiff as in an Acura TL or BMW. The Bose stereo is excellent and has the XM radio already supplied unlike Lexus. I've owned Acura's before and their repair history is superb. Their dealers also treat you like you would expect unlike American car dealerships. I compared this car to the 2006 model Lexus GS 300 and liked them both. I believe they compare favorably with one another. However, $ for $, the RL comes out on top in my opinion once you start adding the extras to the Lexus that the RL already has.

What a nice "ride". The quality is exceptional. The engineering is Acura. Honda/Acura consistantly manufactures the finest mass produced auto on the planet. When you sit in the RL for the first time you realize this is not a Lexus. This is a drivers car.
My list of faults is short, only two. The turning radius is not as tight as it should be.(Honda does a much better with the Acord). Second, acceleration from 0 to 50 could be quicker.
Overall, I highly recommend.

2005 Acura RL: Purchasing a rebuilt car.

I didn't intend to purchase a rebuilt Acura RL. In fact, I bid low, thinking that this was not a car with a salvage title that had recently been rebuilt. It is all about dealing with people on e-bay and the overall intregity of the buyers and sellers. I have not been disappointed. In fact the car is all that they said it was. I am getting a rebuilt title in Texas, and have had no probles with the car or the application for same. Thanks to e-bay and the rebuilder, I look forward to many years of happy driving experiences.

2007 Acura RL: Amazing Car, Amazing Value

I have a 2007 RL with 21,000 miles on it.
It is elegant, more beautiful than a Mercedes, quiet, high performance and gets 28 mpg on the highway (20-21 mixed, though I am an efficient driver). It has not a rattle, and has given me no troubles.
The Pax tire system may prove to be an expense, when it comes time to replace it, but they are great tires, and I do like run-flats for safety and convenience.
I want to point out that the Adaptive Cruise Control is a miracle- it is flawless at maintaining spacing between you and the car ahead, and you cannot fool it.
And, had I known how rapidly they depreciate (I paid $55,000 for mine), I would have bought a used one.

Great car

I own two Acura Legend's now and my research on the cars led me to look for the RL which is the replacement for the Legend in the USA. These cars not only are a luxury vehicle with all the extras but they perform like no other vehicle I have driven. With Honda being the manufacturer of the car that makes me feel comfortable with the quality. It gets good gas mileage and the if you like a vehicle to respond in traffic when you hit the gas. Then this is the car for you.

We were replacing a 1997 Acura RL, so we were familiar with the Acura product. Looked for the 2nd generation RL, and found the 2006 Acura RL on Ebay after looking at many online and at dealerships. This car is a no brainer.... AWD and Technology packed. The best buy in its class! Absolutely love this car!

Before this car I had a 7 series BMW. The Acura is as good or better in every area except interior noise level. I also believe the Acura dealers and Service departments to be superior than most. I will most likely upgrade to another RL someday provided they improve the noise level.

1998 Acura RL: Awesome Car

I have had my 1998 RL since 2002, it now has 140,000 miles and runs flawlessly. The leather is extremely soft and comfortable, the Bose produces great sound, 6 CD changer, good gas mileage, great looks for a 10 year old car. As with all Hondas I have ever had the window sometimes slides off track, but fora ten year old car thats a pretty minor complaint. I also have a 99 TL which I have had some transmission problems with, but nothing of the sort with this car. It is so rock solid and dependable, perhaps one of the best buys under $10000. Could use some more power and a sportier steering feel. Acura stands behind their product and this one is guaranteed to run forever.

This is a superb car. I bought it used for the same money as a five year old Honda Accord and it is vastly more comfortable and entertaining to drive. Reliability is excellent. It has 90k on it and will likely go another 100k without much more than standard maintenance. It is very smooth and quiet. I put on 2100 miles after I picked it up and arrived home fresh; I can't say that about my other Hondas. The suspension is good, but I'd prefer something more sporty; however there doesn't seem to be aftermarket performance shocks and springs readily available. Performance on ice and snow is only average. Oddly, though this car is loaded there is no decent coin tray.

2005 Acura RL: High end Luxury with Reliability

This Acura is simply great to drive, all the options are standard and work well. It is a solid and large feeling car without slowing down cornering or acceleration by much (still a 6.5-7 sec 0-60). I used to enjoy driving, but now even more so. The steering is more heavy and tight than Lexus (which I am used to), but is much more sporty. The AWD is great in the snow and gives me an edge getting around hilly roads with ice/snow. The SH is only noticeable when you are driving aggressive or dangerous, but adds a bit of fun when you push it - it does work.
Driving a loaner TL when my RL was getting routine maintenance was dissappointing (the '08 TL buttons/interior seemed cheaper and handling was not noticeably faster). The seats are impressively adjustable and comfortable.
Cons: Fuel mileage and initial cost. No matter how I adjust the navigation marker, it always seems to be a bit ahead or behind (~30 ft). The phone connection is a bit buggy (at least for my cell model) and always asks for connection setup at startup. Occassionally, the doors do not lock automatically when I press the handle and I have to use the keyfob (may be user error). Could use more useful storage pockets in center console like some of the American cars, i.e. designed for cell, sunglasses, papers, etc.
Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend to those in the market in this segment.

THE CAR IS JUST AWSOME INSIDE AND OUT. THERE IS NOTHING NOT TO LIKE ABOUT IT. THE GAS MILAGE IS GREAT TOO! THE ONLY THING THAT I COULD SAY OTHER THAN THE CAR IS GREAT IS THAT THE BACK SEAT IS A LITTLE SMALL.
