What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Great Car my first 250 miles averaged 56 mpg. The car is quiet well made and is rated high by the experts. If you buy used hold out for Navigation and other upper end accessories, package #6, it is worth the extra investment. Computer in car is really cool. You feel like your in a car of the future. Great car for the environment.

Buy used (at about 20K miles and 2yrs old) and should be able to get a car in like new condition for about 65% of orginal MSRP(plus options). Mine was way under the loan value of the car. Great Buy.

2007 Toyota Prius: Go ahead, make faces to all gas guzzler :D
11/22/06

• Overall Satisfaction:
I got my silver 2007 prius 3 weeks ago. (late oct/06)
It's a pack #2 with mp3, stablity control, rear camera and full airbags.

I didn't have to wait for one at my dealership (in San Fran bay area, CA)
so whatever those dealership BSing a bloody waiting list and try to charge or make you do a depost, walk away. Also, if you are a costco member, the discount is not worth the trouble.

Okay - the review:

The GOOD:
1. I had been driving it for 3 weeks; to work and day trips. 900 miles on my ob meter - and I average 50 miles a gallon. I only filled my tank twice in last 3 weeks.
2. Amazing interior noise - I drove over 80 mph and it didn't even hiss at me.
3. Even quietier when you coast it on city street.
4. The cool geek factor is still very much in this car. But sorry, this car isn't a true babe magnet. (darn! ^_^;)
5. Cargo space is insanely huge. I could stuff a full size futon flat with rear seat fully folded down.
6. Rear seatings (I am told) are very comfy.

The BAD:
1. Not absolutely comfortable... This car driver seat similar to a full size SUV. While it is okay, it just isn't as well design as I expected in a "sub compact". (driving is different then being a passager)
2. Batteries... The estimated cost for replacing that NiMH pack is about $12,000. - it does last 150,000 miles but don't bet on it.

The UGLY:
1. it handle like a van.. Not just a van-van, it's FEEL LIKE moving in a VW bus. Becuase my past driving experiences were mainly "Nihonize pocket-rockets" - this car handling characteristic doesn't impressive me.
2. Blind spots.. this car had 2 major blind spot. The first one in the front - it cut off part of your front view. The other in the traditional rear end of the car - only problem that it is compounded by the poorly placed hatch support beam/shell.
3. Colour... The hottest/unusal colour on the prius is the titanium grey and unlike other regular Toyota, that colour is very rare. The next rarest is the seaside pearl (green). Either way, if you want those colours - prepare to wait a long long time.

The conclusion:
If you want to be a bit sporty, but still want to be somewhat green - get the honda as its fun to drive that car.
But if you want is a green FAMILY car that do its job as good transportation. Then this is your car. (The Camery-H is even better but more $$$)

2007 Toyota Prius: Toyota Prius

Averaging 53 MPG with the new Fuel Max tires. Great car - very high tech and has more interior room than my camry did. Not a small car. Also versatile - it's easy to lower the rear seats and you can fit a TON of cargo in the back. These cars are made in Japan rather than Mexico (like Ford) and I expect that is partly responsible for the quality of fit/finish and reliability. This is not a luxury car, however. The lack of acceleration is somewhat annoying, and it is not super quiet or plush like a Cadillac - but it is overall a great car nonetheless.

Having owned a 2005 Prius since new (it now has about 80,000 miles), and given it to my daughter when she went to college in 2006, I decided it was time to get another one for myself.

EBay was the perfect answer. I found one that had been in a minor crash, but had been fully repaired, and could be purchased for about $5,000 below market. I flew to Philadelphia (from Louisville) to pick it up, and have been driving it for over a month now. How sweet it is!!!!

I'm now considering buying a new one for my daughter and selling the 2005!

Love this car. I like getting High Mileage & this car gives it to me. No wasted gas sitting at idle (the gas engine shuts off). From a stop, a light foot on the gas & you'll be running on the electric motor. Screen tells you the mileage your getting right now + what you averaged 5 min. ago, 10 min. ago, etc. The two engines work together smoothly. I put in a K & N Air Filter. I believe I'm getting a little more mileage & I know the car now has more power. This is my 2nd vehicle with the K & N Air Filters. And both vehicles now have extra power. The back up camera gives a very wide view of what's behind you. The Navigation & 6 CD changer both work great. JBL Stereo sounds good (but not great). Steering wheel controls are nice. Side Air Bags that come out of the seats, Side Air Bags for the head, Ft. & Rear make me feel safe. Some people complain about the back window split, but it doesn't bother me. Ride on rough road could be smoother. Computer is telling me I'm getting 50+ MPG, but that MAY be a few MPGs too high. Will need another fill-up to know for sure. All in all I would recommend this car to others & would replace with another Prius if something happened to this one.

Great reviews for this car. Bought it for the gas mileage. I had driven my husbands and had to have one. It handles great, tight turns, smooth on the highway, easy to navigate and I always get at least 43mpg no matter how I drive it. The only drawback is most of them have the tan interior which shows dirt; however, mine is grey inside and out.

We flew to Phoenix to get this Prius which is the one we have kept. We call her Bianca (from "The Rescuers") This one had less than 65,000 miles on it with a full factory warranty. Immaculate condition as well. Still not getting more than 42 MPG but again, I drive too fast. We had a nice drive through the east side of the Grand Canyon on the way home. We also stopped and met a gentleman in Salt Lake City who is woking on electric cars. Note he has a little Ford Ranger on eBay motors. Keep an eye out, these are going to be a hot item. The oil company shut them down once but it won't happen again. The patent on the lithium ion battery held by GM expires in 3 years. In the mean time, buy a used one. After all, it will go forever!!!!

I won 3 Toyota Prius Hybrid bids within days of each other so we did not go through with the purchase of this vehicle. It might have been a nice drive home from Pennsylvania had we followed through with it. It also appeared to be a very clean, well maintained vehicle with everything else apparently in order.

It was in immaculate condition. We also liked the fact that it was a southwest car with no signs of rust since we live in MN where we usually have plenty of it. The Prius Hybrid is a great little car. I haven't gotten better than 42 MPG yet but that's my fault...I'm a lead foot. My son is now in the process of purchasing it from me as we bought another one from eBay motors. Driving home resulted in an unexpected stop in KC for an engine light that said "Go to the Toyota Dealer". It turned out to be a dirty fuel injector. While killing time on the showroom floor one of the sales reps asked what year it was. He looked at me and said, "That car will go forever!" Hah, guess I can continue to buy used!!!

Overall I am happy with my Prius purchase. I have always wanted one but could never afford one. awhile back an old man totaled my daily driver and forced me back into the car market. I could not afford a $26k prius so I went on ebay and found it for less then half! I found a really good one in Florida close to my home but the seller only had 1 feedback so I went with an ebay car dealer. The car wasn't as good but the transaction was smooth and it made me feel a little more secure. I also noticed that ebay has a $50,000 dollar car buyers protection plan.
Everything worked out well and i got my car shipped to my house. Once I got the car I did the standard oil and air filter change, along with other maintenance checks. Now I am happy to say I drive a car that I thought would take years to get. The car did not come with some things I expected on it like navigation, rear view camera, 6 disc changer, and smart key doors. It also has some nicks and dings, but I am just happy to have it. Well, as far as buying cars on ebay as long as you have common sense and read you should have a great time and get a deal. Happy ebaying to all, and thanks ebay for helping make one of my cars dreams a reality.

Obviously, this is not a car that is designed to provide sporty performance. What it does is save you money on gasoline, and protects environment along with that. I average 46mpg, and I don't even drive it like I should a hybrid! It has modest acceleration, but once you get it going, you're cruising at 75 mph and getting 80mpg!!! If you're looking to burn rubber, don't waste your time with Prius, get a 'vette instead. But if a "green car" is what you really after, look no further. This is the best of them all.
