What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Pros
-dependable vehicle
-comfortable
-fully loaded package is great features and price

Cons
-manual states towing ability; real life towing is much less than factory rec'd

After ten years this vehicle is still running strong. The only real wear is buttons on the Bose stereo and leather on the front seats.

I bought this car in january and I can say I already love it. I used to own a 98 explorer but the pathfinder, in my opinion, is so much better. It is much more roomier and has the extra row of seats in the back that fold down flush so that you're storage space isn't compromised when you need it. It drives pretty smooth for an SUV and has good handling. I live in the city and I have noticed its great turning radius the most. I've also tried it out in some fields after it has rained and it does great in the mud. Haven't even needed to switch it to 4wd yet. Its the kind of car that looks more expensive than it really is. I only paid 13k for mine and everyone thinks I paid well over 20k. So i feel like I got a lot for my money. Its a good looking car that performs well. I did look at the newer explorers, but the pathfinders seemed to have more going for them and I didn't have much luck with my previous explorer so I didn't want to get into another one. I don't even have the top of the line version of the pathfinder and I still love it. Overall, the pathfinder is great and i could see myself buying another.

2003 Nissan Pathfinder: should have walked

The car was not accurately represented. While being a one owner car, several issues were not disclosed; two quarts low on oil at pick up; no records; multiple significant scratches; tear in leather seating; significant rust on trailer hitch assembly; interior lights not working; broken exhaust mount. Have bought 4 cars on eBay; this is next to worst. If not for a Nissan it would be an abysmal waste of time. It has decent tires, okay brakes; it made a 900 mile trip with nothing more than an oil change. Buyers remorse set in; first time since 1980. Could have saved a lot of trouble and bought an equivalent car locally. Live and learn. Should have gotten back on the plane and gone home and picked up an equivalent locally; but I live up to my end of the bargain with the risk sight unseen.

1995 Nissan Pathfinder: How I was ripped off on Ebay

The pathfinder is fine. My previous purchase attempted purchase was Turbotax business software on 5/29. The vendor belatedly sent Turbotax personal for 2004. After some difficulty Ebay sent me the vendor's phone number. It was a phoney number. The owner of this number said that many people had called looking for the Indian named software vendor. My subsequent attempts to complain to Ebay were ignored. Most of my ebay transactions not involving criminals have been satisfactory. I do think that you should give this guy a lower rating though.

Vehicle was pretty good. Communication was good, a few of the things we discussed were missed but when I called they were quickly corrected.
I felt that the photos failed to show some of the scratches, dings etc. on the car but overall it wasn't badly represented.
If they had something I needed I would not be hesitant to buy from them again.
Their rating was at 92% and I would say that is an appropriate rating.
No real problems from my end.

2003 Nissan Pathfinder: Used car buying made easy!!

I was skeptical at first just like anyone buying a used car. I didn’t want to throw away my hard earned money on a car that wasn’t going to live up to its description. This was my first major purchase on eBay and it was something for my wife and 3 year old son primarily, so it was of major importance to me. I must say that I am thoroughly satisfied with the vehicle and the transaction with the seller. EBay takes the worry out of used car buying because although you don't have a warranty with a used car from a private seller, you have comfort knowing that if something goes really wrong you can take the necessary steps through eBay to try to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. I really love the car and I hope to have it for many years to come!

Pros: The engine has a lot of grunt, the towing capacity is above average, the ride is smooth but not as anonymous as let's say the Ford Explorer. It's not a minivan.

Cons: Third row seats are kinda cramped, no one older than 10 years old can fit comfortably. The standard radio is so-so.

I decided on this truck because I had two major constraints. The first is that I need to pull a rather heavy travel (5000 pounds) trailer. The second is that I needed a 7 seater. A tough combination if you don't want to go in a full size SUV. I prefer a V6 to a V8 hands down for fuel economy, we pull the trailer about 1000 miles a year but still drive about 15000 miles without. Competitors with V6 were rather on the limit with a tow capacity of 5000 pounds where as this one can pull 6000 pounds.

Nissan reliability has always been good so that is a plus.

I absolutely love my pathfinder LE. It is roomy, comfortable and very reliable. I feel very safe in it. It rides great and handles like a champ. No complaints at all only that I didn't get the model with the navigation!

LE with navigation and rear seat DVD it can't get any better. memory seats, heated seats, autochromatic mirror, adjustable pedals, leather interior, 3rd row seats, running boards, roof rack, 6CD MP3, navigation was great, I know cnet and others commented about the joystick style control and lack of touch screen but the fact that they designed some direct controls and also the fact that one can still use the POI feature to get to the nearest gas station or restaurant with out having to park and look up like other factory units was great. Now the things I don't like the interiors are not as great as other Japanese makes with all that plastic, not so great mileage compared to the similar sized crossovers.

I bought the vehicle for $6500 and paid extra $3500 to repair the transmission, which i'm not sure if it was the seller's fault for not informing me if the car had a previous transmission problem, or if the transmission damaged because i towed it with a dolly from New york to Maryland.
