What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I purchased my 2003 Murano new and really enjoyed the vehicle until last month. My transmission failed due to a pressure sensor inside the transmission and to fix it, I had to REPLACE the transmission. Very MAJOR expense. Mine was $4300.00 and I took it to AAMCO transmissions after LIA Nissan of Enfield totally disabled my vehicle. There price was almost $6000.00 to fix it. Nissan corporate and the local Nissan dealers pretend to know nothing about it. If your Murano is starting to hesitate while acclerating than you most likely have this problem. Check out Edmunds.com under CVT Transmissions and look at all the people who have had this problem. I've also reported it to NHSTB before someone is killed because of the hesitation. Class action suit is being talked about but I have not heard anything yet. I will start it myself next week if nothing is being done. Nissan should be ashamed of how they have ignored this. Never again!!

2007 Nissan Murano: My new Murano

• Overall Satisfaction:
I previously owned a 2003 Murano and when I saw this 2007 on Ebay and the pictures I had to have it. I received it on Friday, 3/28/07 and it is beautiful. There were only a few minor flaws on the paint from rocks and regular wear and tear and some scratches in the leather on the back seat, however, I was buying it sight unseen. However, I am extremely happy and have already put the extras on it; bugshielf, vent visors, nerf bars and side door molding. It is a beauty. Thank you so much Philip at Landers Toyota for making this deal great for me.

2005 Nissan Murano: 2005 Murano Touring Package is a MUST Have Package

I have sold Nissan's for 7 years now and I must say the Nissan product have significantly improved under the direction of Carlos Ghosn. While on a dealer trade in late 2005 I drove a 2005 Murano with the Nav & Touring package on a fairly long trip. That's all it took...Put a fork in me...I was done. I had to have one...and so I did...lease a loaded 2005 with all but the rear seat entertainment system. The seat comfort is incredible. The smooth CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) delivers the 240 hp power very effectively. The overall fuel economy I have been able to maintain with about a 50/50 mix of city/highway driving is 20 mpg. The Murano has a lot to offer and should be at the top of anyone's list who is considering the purchase of a "Crossover" SUV that seats 5 comfortably.

The Touring package in my humble opinion sets this rig apart from the rest. This includes: the Xenon HID headlights, 2 driver memory system, intelligent key or "I" key that allows for keyless ignition. Also, with the Navigation system is a full color back-up camera that activates automatically in reverse. The Bose 6CD in-dash Audio System is awesome...every seat if front seat at the concert hall.

As far as the downside go...here they are...The navigation system requires the use of a small joystick type control for spelling out addresses. Which was ok technology in 2005...But the new models now have a voice activated touch screen navigation which is quite a bit more desirable. Also, many of the navigation features are disabled when the car is moving. Nissan recommends 91 octane fuel for maximum performance...which is all I run through mine...That is 20-30 more cents per gallon. The wiper blades on the 2005 and earlier model was too small for the large sloping window...I replaced mine with the 2006 and up blades and am very happy with them now.

All in all it's hard to beat the size, comfort, safety the Murano has to offer...The Touring and Nav are in my opinion must have features. Happy Ebaying!

2003 Nissan Murano: All the luxuries of the more expensive small SUVs

We were attracted to the Nissan Murano because of the styling. It is a good looking vehicle all the way around. Once inside it only gets better! We loved the features. We were able to get all the comforts the more expensive manufacturers were offering, at a lesser price.

Overall it's hard to beat the Murano. My wife and I both love to drive it, it has all the features you could ask for, and it's a Nissan so it's reliable.

The only downfall of the Murano is the 6cyl engine. It's plenty to power this little car down the road, but we traded after owning a Tahoe so I think I got used to the power of the V8, and the big V8 towing capabilities. But in a world of $3/gal gas, the Murano is a more economical vehicle.

One really cool thing about the Murano is the transmission. I know there is a special acronym for it, but I can't think of it offhand. You will hardly ever feel this car shift gears. It's really a neat feeling, especially on the highway. When we picked up our Murano we had to climb a very steep grade down I-20 back home. The Murano downshifted and kept speed at 75mph, and we never even noticed it downshifted. But, there is 2 sides to every coin! It's neat, but what's it going to cost to repair this thing if it has problems?

Overall, I am very happy with our purchase of a Murano. I would recommend it to anyone!
