What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The car was not described fairly in E-Bay by the owner. The ownner described that the car was rust free, however the car is rusted at many locations, and originally the engine was an 8-cylinder and was replaced by a 4 cylinder engine. I do not know if the car has the right mileage or not. The suspension and bakes needs complete overhaul. The engine is leaking oil. I am very disappointed about this car.I bought the car because it was a classical car and I always like to have a MG. What is my option to return my money back?

1978 MG MGB: 1978 MGB

This is a fun and affordable little sports car, finding one rust free like I did is a big plus, unless you plan on spending a lot of money and time on a restoration. Parts are readily availble even on a vehicle over 30 years old.

The car performs great. Very strong and tight. Body was as described. Paint was weak and there was some minor rust, but it was in far better shape than most MGBs of that age. Owner was great to work with and supplied all of his receipts and books. I'd buy a car from him anytime.

The early MGB's are by far the most desirable of the MGB production.
They are not encumbered by horsepower robbing emission controls. The classic styling lines are beautiful. The interiors are simple yet elegant with the '62 through '67 models having leather seats as standard. The metal dash models ('62 - '67)enjoy tremendous popularity as do the pull handle models ('62 - '65). The MG epitomizes the classic British sportscar.

Car did not exist. When I contacted the seller to arrange pickup I got no response. Typical scam where seller relies on distance from listng location to cheat buyers. I live in Phila and he refused to give me a location where I could see and drive the vehicle.
