What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1967 Pontiac Firebird: Restore a firebird not as many left as camaros

A firebird and a camaro is basically the same car. The reason I chose a firebird is because there wasn't as many made. When you go to a car show you will always see a first generation camaro. (Usually several) You may see a first generation firebird, but not as many. Seeing a 1967 firebird is scarce.
If buying a firebird or camaro to restore Be sure to know the commonly overlooked places for rust.
I have looked at nearly 100 cars priced under $5000.00. All were rusted out around the roof where the glass seals. The car I bought looked good until I removed the glass.I will need to replace the roof skin. The chrome strips and sealer hides this area. My advice If you can't see it assume you will need to repair it.
Also look at the bottom of the doors close to the front. This is a common rust spot that is overlooked.
Check the firewall around the wiper motor. Water get inside and lays. Mice also build nest here which holds the moisture in.
These areas can be fixed by a good body man without to much trouble. Just make sure you know what you are getting into.
If the rear frame rails and the rocker panels are rusted out avoid the car. These are very difficult to replace and keep the car strait. Small holes can be repaired. Large holes stay away.
Remember this when buying any car to restore. Small bubbles often turn into large holes. A little bondo and paint (primer) can hide big problems. If I smell fresh paint I look for problems.
Good luck.

First off let me start off by saying I spent 3-4 months looking online for a Trans AM making sure I had all the info I could get on the 93-97 TA market. I made several bids on different cars before I got mine. Now let me tell you about my experiance with the seller I bought my car from,I asked all the questions I could think of (how does it drive, does it need work, etc.)and i was told it was in perfect running order with minor inperfections. Well to make a long story short 1200 dollars in engine work later its now reliable but it seems to be more of a money pit then I thought when I bought it.With all that said it is a used car but it was not in the codition I was told so at the end of the day I probaly wont buy another car off of ebay.

The Trans Am is perhaps one of the best cars made in the past several decades. The horsepower of a Corvette mixed with absolutely awesome styling make this car one of the finest muscle cars that Detroit ever produced. Good luck finding a rig that turns more heads!

The car is overall a descent car. However, the dealership failed to mention that the drivers side power window would not roll down, the power antenna wouldn't come up, the wipers didn't function properly, the CD player didn't work, the engine was filthy, and they didn't service the car. Not to mention the incompetent service department wouldn't even loan me a pair of pliers to pull the non-functioning antenna up.

This was a great deal, and exactly what I was looking for. I used to have a 1969 in High School, & I totally Loved it. I was born in 1968, so I've been looking for a ''68. I haven't been able to find a decent car for a reasonable price, until this one. AWESOME DEAL!!

This is a great car! For the year it is it doesn't have many "blemishes" at all. I LOVE the t-tops, it's a very sleek and sporty car. It runs great and has been kept in good condition.

The sellers were a pleasure to work with and were very helpful. Purchasing this car was a great experience.
