What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1964 Dodge Dart: Best Car Ever Made?

The Dodge Dart was one of the best values ever to be released on the American Highway. It's not a sports car, but it has plenty of get up and go. It's not a truck, but the trunk can hold a lot! It doesn't get great mileage, but it's not a huge muscle car guzzler either.

If you have a model with the legendary slant six 225, it will run FOREVER if properly maintained. It is one of those engines that can take a bullet and still drive 100 miles. Maybe farther, depending where the bullet hits.

Linked up to this reliable stalwart of American Engineering, is the legendary torque flight transmission. Almost 3 times as bullet proof as the motor. There are some on the road today that have never been serviced since 1964, and they are still functioning perfectly, as long as you keep tranny fluid in it!

The push-button automatic that came standard is a dream to drive. It's as if they had robbed ideas from our electric future.

Cleaned up, a Dart will also look excellent, and is the most fun you can have driving, short of a giant motor luxury sports car, like Porsche, Ferrari, or Lamborghini. But the Dart has more style!

This car is a fantastic vehicle and a great find. Older vehicles are easy to maintain and inexpensive to repair. While the typically need extra love and attention, the feel I get from driving it could never be matched by a newer vehicle in this price range.

Where to begin :( Over 6 grand for a vehicle that looked good but needed a new engine, tranny & exhaust system - PHEW ! Bottom Line - the Seller took no responsibility when they found out how bad the vehicle was - only that it ran good till the day they put it on the transport for delivery ( Our mechanics could tell someone had chased this problem & ignored it ! ) A good, honest Seller should have offered a partial refund once all the problems were found & that is all we asked for when we found out ! For the sake of E Bay & other Sellers, don't lie, be honest... & take responsibilty, " Once bitten, twice shy, " the one's you hurt is E Bay & other Sellers !! I see Sellers often worried about being " Ripped Off " as tho they are the only one's who are !

I dont know what the guy who wrote the other reviews problem is. If you pay less than $5,000 for a classic car, you sure as heck aren't going to get a frame off restoration. Its just common sense, something he lacks obviously. If a car isnt maintained properly, and hasn't experienced the proper upkeep, then ANY car will experience overheating within a few minutes. You arent going to get a classic car for less than $5,000 that doesnt need some sort of work done, whether its major or minor. As for MY experience with the car, it is the new mustang, the new charger. These are the cars that will replace the challengers and chargers and mustangs as the classics to have. They are rapidly rising in value, and if you can get your hand on one for cheap, jump on it. I love mine. Yes it isnt perfect, it has some "Body cancer", but its still a classic, and with the new paint and wheels it turnes more heads than the new corvette or ferrari riding beside me.

1973 Dodge Dart: 1973 Dart Swinger

• Overall Satisfaction:
I owned a Yellow 1973 Dart when I dated my wife of 34 years, and when I found this same car on Ebay with a nut and bolt restoration by a Automatic Technical School in Trenton, NY, I couldn't resist buying this car, especially after speaking with the tech teacher who directed the restoration. Finally, since MOPAR B-Body cars are prohibitive in cost, I have found the A=Body MOPARS much undervalued, and the Dart is a great looking car, especially if you are creative in making MINOR changes to the body.
