What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2006 Honda Civic: 2006 Honda Civic LX -Outstanding Gas Mileage, Fun Car
11/15/06 (updated 11/17/06)

• Overall Satisfaction:
I bought my Civic last fall because I like the new body style and I wanted a good value on a car that gets great gas mileage and also has lots of safety features.

Here is what I think after 1 year:

• It’s a fun car to drive. I do a good deal of canyon driving and there is plenty of torque to keep my speed in most situations.
• This car is great in the snow. I’ve driven it with chains in sticky situations, and I’d rather be in my civic than a 4X w/ no chains. I think Honda is generally a good car in cold climates.
• I’m not sold on the “drive by wire” system – I kind of prefer my ’91 Acura in terms of throttle feel.
• Car handles really well –but I can’t wait till the tires are worn enough to justify new ones.
• I really like the fact that my hood is smaller than my windshield. It may seem a bit sketchy, but the visibility for a wide range of drivers is outstanding.
• Go for the manual transmission! Honda states that the automatic is superior to the manual in terms of gas mileage, but I live in an area with plenty of hills and I still push up to about 35 - 39 mpg with the stick shift.
• At first I did not really like the sound of the stereo –maybe I’m just used to it, but it seems ok. Honda could do better w/ the stereo but it’s not as though you’re paying a premium price.
• Interior is cool – I’m a sucker for the two tone dash a la the old Acuras. I love the heads up speedometer and dash.
• The “Latch” system for my kid’s car seat works seamlessly and adds yet another layer of assurance along with the many airbags.
• The kid has tried her best to muck up the back seat, but so far it cleans really well.

I’ve driven a comparable Toyota and I prefer the Honda overall –especially if you’re over 6'

If you can pick an ’06 Civic up for around that 15k mark –I say you can’t do much better for the $.

I am one of those people who traded in my gas-guzzling truck for a fuel efficient vehicle. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this vehicle. I never thought I would drive anything other then a truck, I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and it fits me like a glove. I was looking at the Acura TL and drove an Audi A4 and I decided on the Civic. The TL was about 12,000 more new although I loved it and the Audi just didn't have the same room, plus there wasn't as much "Bang for the buck." I decided on the Civic because it was the most efficient, offered the most room for its size, and I could still get leather, navigation, sun-roof...etc. After I bought it I drove from CT to GA and with a fully loaded vehicle traveling at speeds around 75 and faster when I could I still got about 34-35 mpg's. Considering the circumstances that was great! If I would drove around th speed limit and didnt have a full load I dont see why I couldn't pull-off close to 40 mpg's. I did all this in comfort and with style. I think the decision Honda made to put leather in these things was awesome! In todays environment that is the direction we are headed. People want to pay for luxury but dont want to have to pay alot for operating costs and that is exactly what you get in this vehicle. Also, you are buying a respected brand in the area of quality and cutting-edge design and that is what I found with this vehicle. The only draw-back to me would be power but Honda did a good job about masking this with mating the 140 hp motor with a 5-speed auto transmission. This allowed them to use a very low first gear that gives this vehicle plenty of pep off the line and makes it fun to drive in a city environment. The suspension is excellent, and the steering is extremely tight (at least compared to my truck). The only area's I noticed the lack of power was at higher highway speeds. At the end of the day that is nothing to complain about because it is an economy car and it does get excellent gas mileage and that is why I bought the vehicle. The Civic SI does have a 197 hp so maybe someone from Honda will read this and try to squeeze another 10 or 15hp out of the standard Civic motor. All in all the car is excellent, I was able to negotiate a little on the price so I paid a hair under 22K and I have many of the same options of cars that cost nearly twice that. If you are looking to buy a name instead of a car, look at the Audi's and BMW's, but if you are looking to make a smart economical decision that is in no-way anything to be ashamed of, take a look at the EX-L model Civic, you will be impressed.

2000 Honda Civic: 2000 Civic SI Review

Vehicle is very mechanically sound , however I have ran into a few problems with the vehicle. The biggest problems I notice are the windows, one rattles and the other window the motor is acting up and I will have to replace it soon. The fuel economy on this vehicle is excellent, I average roughly 26.5 to 27.5 mpg driving on one gas tank 33% percent in the city and %67 percent on the highway. Vehicle shifts very smoothly into each gear except first, which can be a little finicky. Also, sometimes getting the car into a certain gear can be a little rough. All in all, this is an excellent car that is very quite on the highway, has great handling, and fantastic fuel economy. In addition, this car is easy to park whether in downtown or a regular parking lot. If this vehicle should ever fail me i know without a doubt I would just by a newer version of this same vehicle because I am that satisfied with the car overall. I would recommend this car to others in a heart beat, and feel extremely confident in that decision.

The seller had helped me out in a situation by delivering the vehicle for me because of my current location. I was un-able to find someone to pick it up for me so he offered to deliver it. I physically have not seen the car but Im sure from what I have seen in the pictures that I wont be dissapointed in when I finally do see the vehicle. Thanks again for all the help!

I decided to buy my vehicle because of price and convienience. As I was shopping for a vehicle, the salepersons were playing their regular games.
I work at night and I didn't have the time to play the game of going to different dealership and getting the lowest possible price. Through Ebay motors it was the best bid win, which gave me a price lower than the blue book value. Which is always an indication that you've gotten a good deal.

2003 Honda Civic: GREAT CAR! GREAT GAS SAVER!

This is my second Honda product to own. Our other car is a 2002 Honda Odyssey. Our 2003 Honda Civic LX has a manual transmission and had just under 99K on it when we bought the car. Honda's are known for running FOREVER IF they are well cared for (and just shy of forever if you just do the basics!). The 4 cyl. 1.7 L engine sometimes seems to need an extra push, but I am usually driving the Odyssey with a bit more horsepower! I have gotten excellent gas mileage (39mpg on highway @ 80mph average and about 31 in town with some highway miles occasionally) and have not been bothered by the slightly louder engine sounds while driving on the interstates. I also would recommend getting your windows tinted to help with keeping the car at a constant temperature...plus it makes it look a bit more luxurious than what it really is! The stereo is basic. The trunk space is surprising for the size of the car. The back seat is surprising comfortable for a compact sedan. I love the Honda line of cars and they have a superb reputation for being a great car!

1995 Honda Civic: 1995 Honda del Sol

This 1995 Honda Del Sol had been well maintained. I was able to research the previous owners and obtained a partial maintenance history. The vehicle had not been modified, as so many of these cars are, a key buying consideration. The appearance was/is immaculate, as if it had just come from the show room floor. Although, the vehicle had recently been painted the original color (red, it was do to the faded paint and not from an accident. There were other details that also were a consideration, such as the original owners manual with notations, new tires, a complete service of all fluids prior to delivery. Over all, may expectations were exceeded with this purchase. I expect to be diving this Honda for a long time. 31mpg. I drove the vehicle for 2800 miles across the USA from SAN to ATL in four days with no trouble (electric radiator fan had to be replaced). In fact the vehicle was very smooth. I have given the car a 4/5 rating on comfort simply because it is not designed for long drives, it is not a luxury car, there is nothing wrong with the interior and the comfort level is just fine for a daily driver.

I enjoy the pickup this car has for interstate driving, the only things that I do not like are the cheap plastic that was used for the door and parts of the dash, also the dash always looks dusty, even after cleaning. It's a very good car, and a great civic

Good size for teenager car; not too big and not too small. I hooked up an Aux Input for $60 in four hours. Notice there are no daytime driving headlights. My color is bright white, so probably not needed; but a grey, silver, black or a color that blends in with asphalt I think you should have a driving light kit feature added.
