Porsche Cayenne

Yes, this is probably the most contraversial vehicle in the Porsche lineup since the "affordable" 924s of the 1980s. Purists (most of whom I suspect have never tried using a 911 on a daily basis) objected to the the company selling out the brand to make a fast buck in the SUV market.
Nothing could be further from the truth. This is simply a Porsche you can use every day. I leased one of the last of the 2006 models and I have not been this happy with a vehicle since I bought my 1997 C4S ten years ago.
You get the best of both worlds - a fun vehicle with a useful interior, a daily driver that you can still rip into an off ramp in second gear, a real four seater with an awesome V8 that pulls to any legal speed limit (and beyond) like a sports car.
Downsides - not many. The ride can be harsh driving in pothole infested city driving. With +8 inches of ground clearance, at least you won't bottom out. The nav system/sat radio unit takes an actual read of the manual to use to the fullest. The reat seats can get cramped if the front passengers are not charitable. Overall interior space is not meant for a monster run to Costco or Home Depot.
Overall though, this is probably the best value in the whole Porsche lineup. You get a Porsche you can use every day. Year round.

I generally don't like used car dealers, but I had a great experience with Rocky Mountain Eurosport. These guys are honest...and fun! They sell only high end used cars which they fix up in their spotless, impressive shop, which takes up nearly a city block in SE Denver. My Porsche Cayenne was everything they said it would be.

I bought this SUV a month ago.The car is great but had to get some repairs done soon after I bot it. A set of new brakes and all four tires had to be replaced.The seller failed to list these in the listing. Even though it had only 29k miles on it the tires had little tread left and wre making lot of noise when I drove above 40 miles an hour.

Honestly this is one of the cleanest cars i ever purchases off of eBay, fully loaded with Xenon lights, navigation, premium sound, etc. The car runs very smooth and handles like a true sports car, the V6 could use a little more horsepower but my wife thought it was enough, you guys out there might want to upgrade to a Cayenne S.

Great Porsche performance the turbo would be scarey as the "S" is fast enough on the flats, mountain passes and four wheeling. Yes four wheeling....great traction and fun...yet small enough to go most places.

We have been looking at the SUV market and decided we wanted a Cayenne. Period. We have looked at them at the car show and the dealers. I have bid on several on Ebay, but have never gotten one. What can I say, I want a good deal! That is why we are here isnt it? Here was one for a real low price with no reserve and no one had bid on it. I jumped on that one right now. It was not exactly what we thought our perfect Cayenne would be, but the price was right. We knew someone would bid it up. No one bid it up. It was local so we went to look at it the day before the auction was up. The dealer knew it was going to be bid up at the last minute. 28 people had it on their watch list. No one bid it up and now we have it. The dealer took it to the local Porsche Dealer and had all the service work done and detailed it before we picked it up. NICE! My advice, don't click on it if you don't want it! The timing was off a little for me since I got laid off because of the economy, but for that price, we will take it. Love it. Want to buy my pickup? This car was in 'like new' condition even though it was 2 1/2 years old. It was a one owner vehicle and Lamborghini Houston did a great job detailing it to make it look near perfect. It is by far the best vehicle I have ever driven. I have absolutely no complaints or dislikes about this purchase.

The car is everything that it is hyped to be. And, Erik and the folks at Valley Imports were timely, professional, accomodating, and plain nice to deal with!!!

It was a long process for me. It was either Mercedes GL550, BMW X5, or the Cayenne. I think I made the right decision. Eerythng in the car is where it should be. I don't like however the head rests (doesn't tilt) and the steering wheel design.

A seller you can trust. He always calls you or e-mails to give you any update on the process and as well guides you on what to do. Very friendly and confident.
