Chevrolet Cavalier

The 2003 Cavalier is perfect for any college student, newly-wed couple or anyone else who wants to save some money and still have a smooth ride. This car has been virtually problem free. I bought mine 2 years ago, and have since put 45,000 miles on it. I STILL get 38 miles to the gallon with the help of a K&N filter. An example of the MPG, I drove this little beauty from Norfolk, VA to Ft. Wayne (Northern) Indiana many times, and never spent more than $65.00 one way, even when gas was three bucks a gallon. The 2.2/inline 4 has never failed me. If you are a speed freak, however, you can forget this one. Unless you're willing to spend the cost of the car on bolt-ons, it'll never be a rocket. That is the only reason I didn't rank it a 5/5. Then again, that's not what you buy a Cavalier for. You buy it for it's durability, gas-savings, and ultimately, road-trips. The Cavalier is a wonderful first car, and is moderately priced. So, ditch the SUV for a day, and take this little guy for a spin. You won't be sorry!

The car was bought for $1300+. Because I won it at an auction I didn't think I had to pay the dealer fee and even called before I went there to check the final price and they did not mention it.After I got there with a cashiers check for the auction price they said I DID have to pay an additional $ 499.00 which was in the fine print!Everyone there was nice but the car had no driver's side mirror and stalled everytime I came to a stop. I hade to spend another $ 500.00 to make it driveable so the total price was $ 1000.00 more than I bid for it.

I used to work at the plant that built this car. I worked there for about 2 years. part of the 2002 model year, all of the 2003 model year and part of the 2004 model year. I want to thank all of you who bought this car. although i dont currently own a Cavalier I have owned 4 of them, a 96, 97, 98 and a 2004. I would highly reccomend this vehicle.

For being a salvage car was in good shape had a rebuilt motor good trany and solid body was a good buy for being a parts car

I LIKE THIS CAR, RUNS STRONG, IT IS NEAT AND CLEAN, AT A CHEAP PRICE, I CAN DRIVE IT FOR ONE YEAR AND SELL IT FOR MORE THAN I PAID FOR IT, IT WAS A SWEET DEAL, AND GOING TO BRING IT TO LAS VEGAS IT WAS A VERY EXITING ADVENTURE, HOPING TO GO THERE AGAING IN THE NEXT OPPORTUNITY.

The Price was well within reason. It has a 6 cylinder engine which I prefer for this size vehicle. It will get great gas mileage. It has a convertable top. The body and paint is in good condition. This was an excellent and inexpensive purchase. Thanks

I like Cavaliersas they are known for dependability, good gas mileage and are a fun little car to drive.
