What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2006 Nissan Titan: Love my truck!

What can I say? I love this truck. I have the 2006 Titan Crew Cab with the tow package and the bed kit. Nissan really did their research when designing the Titan. I have out-pulled similarly set-up trucks from the 'big 3' makers (Ford F150, Chev 1500, Dodge 1500) with the closest offering they have to the Titan's engine size. It really wasn't much of a contest comparing stock truck to stock truck...and I've always been a Ford fan. Nissan also did a great job researching the little things people want added on to a truck, and include these in the packages you can purchase on the truck. The tow package is well worth it, including the trans oil cooler and gauge, larger extendable mirrors, and high-rated receiver. The bed package is great with the factory applied spray-in bed liner, tie down rails, in-bed outlet, cargo light, etc.
The one thing I didn't think I would care for much has become one of my favorite features. This is the roll-down back window.
On top of all these options, the truck is a VERY comfortable, very smooth quiet ride. There are a few reviews where people don't like the sound of the exhaust after a while. It doesn't seem any louder than any other similar truck. I'm guessing those people come from riding cars and aren't used to trucks. The exhaust does have a great deep pitch, but doesn't interfere with the stereo or conversations in the cabin due to great sound insulation. The seating is very comfortable even for long drives.
Power on both bottom and top end are excellent. I'm guessing this is mostly due to the dual overhead cams. This engine can breathe!

I researched for over a year while I was gathering the money for my one and only new truck purchase. There is absolutely nothing that pleased me anywhere near as much as the Titan, and the 'big 3' all cost a lot more. Here it is over a year later and I couldn't be more happy.

2008 Nissan Titan: great truck

The 2008 Nissan Titan continues the tradition of this great truck. The powerplant will run with or outrun any truck in its class. Perhaps even more important is that this truck was engineered with the low-end torque in mind. This means you can get up and go with a load behind you, or haul that trailer up that steep mountain road with ease.
My in-laws have the new '09 Toyota Tundra and they were very surprised at how roomy the back seat is in my crew cab titan.
Nissan added many options that the 'big three' would never want to spend their time on. This includes fold up rear seats for storage area in the cabin, complete with hooks to hang bags from. It also includes the rail tie-down system, 12 volt outlet in the bed, spray-in bedliner from the factory, storage compartment on the side of the bed, spring assist tailgate, power roll-down rear window (some are starting to copy this idea finally). There are also some nice luxuries inside including the 6 disk MP3 player in the dash with ipod hookup, ability to raise and lower the pedals (great for shorter or...umm....larger people), breat climate controls and memory seats and mirrors (LE model), etc, etc.
The 2008 saw the addition of the long wheelbase to the titan options. This has proven to make towing even nicer, as well as give you some much needed room in the cargo area of the bed. (The original 5.5' bed on the crew cab just didn't hold a lot of stuff.)
This has been an absolutely reliable truck for me over the past couple of years. With rumors that the Titan may stop production I'm left with an empty feeling as there is not a single truck out there that I like nearly as much in this class. The closest (due to power reasons) is the Tundra. But that is just an UGLY truck.
Research the truck you are looking at. Get a vehicle history report, and buy a good one. You will only look back to see that F150 or Chev / Dodge 1500 in your dust.

The seller tried to get me to wire money to Great Britain. Ebay did nothing to stop the scammer besides advise me not to wire money. The seller would not let me pay in person. He said it had to be wired to a bank acct in the U.K.
Most of all I was disappointed with Ebay for not doing more.

2005 Nissan Titan: Loaded LE Model

I had done a lot of research before I decided to buy a Titan. It seemed like a lot of bang for the buck. I had been driving an older 4runner, but it would not pull one of my boats. I picked the Titan because of the towing capacity, comfort, and style. I have been VERY pleased so far. The first time I hit the gas, I went OOOOH. Wife said the same thing. Power to spare is an understatement. The things I like best are the ride, the seats, and the Rockfort Fosgate sterero system. It is almost too quiet on the road and does not have any shakes, rattles, or rolls. I had read that many of these trucks have brake problems, gas gauge problems etc. Mine does not. If you are looking to buy, I would suggest a good test drive and look over.

2005 Nissan Titan: 2005 Titan XE/S

I've been looking for a full size truck on ebay and found this one for under $8K with less than 100K miles (70K on mine). The truck was a repossesed lease vehicle, so it had some minor scrapes, scuffs, dents and dings. I can overlook that for the price I got. When I transferred the title through our state DMV, the clerk asked if the truck had any major body or water damage. When I told her "no". Her eyes got big and she said "You got a great deal!"...
I'm not a big fan of the king cab doors, but I can't see myself driving a 4 dr pickup (I've got an SUV) but we needed the rear seat since we now have a baby in the family. The king cab will haul my tools most of the time and will at least handle the baby seat when we need it.
This truck has awesome power! My last full size truck was a '95 Dodge Ram Regular cab/Shortbed with the 5.9L. The Nissan 5.6L carrying the heavier king cab body has more power! Even my stripped down XE model has alot of nice features. The damper in the tailgate is something every other truck maker needs to figure out.
I haven't had the chance to check my mileage yet, but based on the first tank of gas, I'm expecting to get around 20mpg - the same I get with my '95 Nissan Pathfinder that looks like it would fit in the bed of the TITAN!

I've worked in automotive manufacturing for 25+ years. I've worked for GM, Ford, Nissan, Toyota and BMW. For the past 10 years, I've driven nothing but Nissans and Mazdas.

2006 Nissan Titan: 06 Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 4X2
08/06/08

• Reliability:

After doing a rather extensive amount of research, and I do mean extensive, I decided to go with a used Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 2 wheel drive. You can easily find the numbers and reviews out there so I will just focus on why I personally chose to buy a Nissan Titan

For starters I do not like to buy new and especially a $40K truck that will immediately loose several thousand off the lot doesn't make sense to me. I also didn't want to spend more then I had to get a truck with everything that I wanted but still wanted the new style/power/chassis/towing/comfort... features so that means about 2003-2006 year trucks were in my category and made the most sense to me.

To be honest I don't particularly like Dodge and I really love the new Chevy but for the years I could afford they just don't seem to be as good in the consumer ratings. So basically that left Ford F150 and Toyota to compare against the Titan.

I love the reliability of Toyota and I have always liked the Tundra. It's a great truck and the 05-06 seemed to have the best "smooth" power delivery of them all and felt the smallest/nimble while driving but really seemed to be a little too small in size and towing power, and the price was always just a bit too high for me considering the competition. The brand new Tundra is probably the best truck out there IMO but I just couldn't rationalize paying another $15K for it... Great truck but a little too pricey.

My family has always driven Ford trucks and vans so I definitely took a hard took at the F-150's and boy are they everywhere so you can really be picky and get exactly what you want. Aftermarket is very easy to get parts and custom's so if your gonna make it a lifted custom with 35's and all the bells and whistles I would probably go with a Ford. Personally I really liked the ford but the power felt very sluggish and I actually thought it was a V6... So for me that was a big deal and considering the comparable trucks I wanted was Ford was around 22K, so not for me.

For starters Nissan's big new truck came out in 04 and I was immediately was impressed with the look so thats +1. After test driving every truck out there the Nissan had a great balance between a smooth ride and a classic truck feel. The cab seemed very roomie and the truck felt good strong size but not too big like every other truck out there (except the toyota), but drove smaller then you would expect. Some guys might like a big drive but I really prefer the Nissans easy to drive truck that seems very manageable. The power shot you right out of the gate with the most impressive throttle response of them all giving you the impression that you should take this baby to the track! It instills a lot of confidence as it shifts fast and smoothly through the gears just what I like! Now the payload and towing capacity are at the top of it's class +3, and boy are there a bunch of extra features that really made a big difference to me! Like the factory spray-in bed liner, track tie down system, side fender storage, tow mode, dual climate control, heated seats/mirrors, auto dimming mirrors, fold up and down rear seats, navigation/DVD, power everything, tire pressure monitor, power moon roof... I could go on and on but the bottom line is Nissan has great attention to detail and it really shows!

So I was patient and found my 2006 Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 4X2, Utility Bed Package, Tow Package, Navigation/DVD, extended 100,000 warranty, Shell all this for $15,500! WOW!

this is only an OK truck it is not as quite and refined as a new Ford or Chev it did however get good fuel economy almost 20 mile per gallon on my 2500 mile journey home the seats are very soft and on long trips uncomfortable the only reason I bought this truck was the price but for this kind of money I could not buy the same Ford I think all in all its a good truck for the money no regrets
