1977 Ford Mustang

I found this car while out riding my bike. I was in the market for a project car to build for the strip. The moment i saw this jewel T knew i had to have it. Spoke to the owner (a kid) said he wanted $3000.00 for it. I got him down to $800.00 and made the deal. It had a modified 302 boss--750 holley-stall speed tranny-411 gear. But it was put together sloppy. I brought it to my mechanic. We got the roll cage in it--installing a ladder bar suspetion-we cut out the entire back side to install some sticky mickeys. we rebuilt the 302--got twisted wedge heads changed all the electronics etc... we got a rod now that will make ya poop ya pants. Gotta love it

This particular Mustang is for a quarter-mile project car. There are not many around anymore. Please do not get rid of your old car in any cash for clunkers scam. It is a crying shame so many people got rid of their older cars-real American historic cars-when they could have sold them to someone who could have used them and loved them.

The 1977 Mustang 11 with 31,000 miles is a classic and it made a great hit with
my daughter as a graduation present. It is her first car and she is learning from it as well. I would rate this car as an eight out of a possible ten at time of purchase, now after some work I rate it a nine. Anyone can buy a car but a classic at the right price does not happen often. I am a believer in
E-Bay because of this purchase.
