What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1965 Ford Mustang: Buyer Beware

I recently purchased a 1965 Mustang on Ebay. I looked at the pictures and emailed and spoke to the seller on the phone. The mustang was described as ready to race. Well when I received the car, there were several problems with it. The suspension on the car was modified by the seller and the left fender is resting on the tire, the headers are also resting on the suspension which if driven will damage the headers, engine and suspension. The brakes do not work and the list goes on. I filed with Ebay Fraud protection because next to the ad it said I was covered up to $20,000. Ebay said I am not covered and they cannot help me. Your Fraud Protection gives the buyer a false sense of security during a purchase. It appears that your fraud protection is in fact fraud itself.Consider me a former customer unless you step up to the plate and take responsibility.

I have bought several 65 and 66 Mustang Fastback and convertibles this year from Ebay and other classic car sites. Before you send money always get the seller to e-mail the title of the car as well as his drivers license.Get the sellers full name, address and telephone #(not a cell #).Look up his address on Mapquest to see if he actually lives there.Call him to see if his phone # is legitimate and look up his name and address in the white pages(see if they correspond).Every city and small town in North America is listed. Also ask the seller for his bank as well as the bank address and tel# and a reference(bank manager) in the bank.Call this person to get a character reference. Also ask the seller for his place of work and a person at work who can give a character reference.Do all theses things before sending any money and you will reduce your chances of getting totally screwed. And also accept the fact that the car will never be as good as described.

First time I’ve been asked to review a purchase off eBay. My experience purchasing this car couldn’t have gone any smoother. The car exceeded my expectation. I would absolutely want to stay in touch this seller for any other vehicles he may be selling. Thank you for a great experience.

i love evry thing abiut it I bought the 1965 mustang three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

1965 Ford Mustang: 1965 Ford Mustang or 1966

First off, this is a 1966 Mustang not a 1965 as described. It has no brakes and the front left wheel is seized. The vehicle would not start though described as "still runs great". Most of the weather stripping is missing so it leaks terribly.
The paint job was poor at best, over spray is everywhere. The black leather seats are originally some other color and painted or stained black (the black is actually peeling off). When I tried the lights only one headlight and the rear parking lights worked. Not one of the turn signals worked, the brake lights did not work and the interior lights weren't working to include the dash lights.
The only good things to mention are that it does have the original rims, it has a V8, it has a 4 speed transmission and the MI mice that caught a ride arrived safely in Ohio. No joke, a family of mice bailed as soon as we started to unload the vehicle.
Thank God for VPP,

This seller went over and above his duty to make sure we received the car on a timely basis and that we were satisfied. He was very open to discussing any concerns and was extremely available. The car was a surprise for my husband, which made the purchase a bit tricky. The seller was more than willing to do what it took to help me pull off the surprise. We are extremely satisfied with the purchase!

1965 Ford Mustang: 1965 Ford mustang, Purchased from Henery Zimmerman

I purchased a 1965 Ford Mustang from Henery Zimmerman Of Mt. Moriah auto sales . The Rocker arm broke on the way home when we picked it up. Henery said the engine was rebuilt with 69,000 mile on it. All the valves were worn down and many poor cover up repairs made to the engine for a quick sale. The car was not what he said it was . Be careful of buying cars on e bay. The ratings of the seller are not what they say they are. Be careful of any purchases from the above seller.

This was bought for my wife who has wanted one since they came out when she was in high school. The car was a fair car at a fair price. The average ratings are based on comparison to a 2008 Mustang I own. For the age of the vehicle it is in relatively good condition. I bought it knowing it was a driver and would need some minor maintenance stuff. Overall I am completely satisfied with the car, the deal I made and the seller.

was unable to purchase the vehicle after all. Seller ended up selling locally even though they never said that they reserve the right to end auction early due to the vehicle being for sale locally. very disapointing.

I bought this Mustang a couple weeks ago. We drove it home and it severly overheated, we had to stop and let it cool down for about an hour three times.
My husband replaced the radiator cap on it and we haven't had any more problems with it so far but we haven't gone out of town with it. We'll have it checked out, may need a new water pump and maybe a new radiator.
It had a hum in the rear end so we took it to the shop and it's going to be over $1000 to get the rear end fixed.
The transmission is shot and it'll be over $1000 for that too.
Overall, I love this car. I've been wishing for it for months and I'm very happy with it.
I plan to have many happy years with it, it's beautiful.
The paint is terribly scarred but it doesn't show unless you are close to it. The color is great, very admirable. We'll get it painted next year. I'll try to get it to be it's original color.
Everything is original on this '65! I love it!

1965 Ford Mustang: 65' Mustang (Shelby Clone)

I decided to buy the 1965 Mustang(Shelby clone) because I had always wanted a real Shelby and opted not to spend the $150,000 plus a real one costs. The car I pruchased is in good shape for the price I paid and although it has had some mechanical items I have had to have fixed, it is an enjoyable car to drive and have. I would recommend that, if possible, buyer's go see and drive the cars they wish to purchase before putting in that final bid.
