What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I found this dealer very helpful to work with and the was even better that described. The haulers which we surcured through E-Bay. With this large transfered of money, the seller agreed to accept a bank transfer. We had the car in eight days from the time of purchase. Both the seller and the hauler were thought and conscientious. Great transaction.

When i was a kid there was a old guy in my home town that had a old model A pickup truck , that he used every day . He was a handy man around the town and used the truck to haul his tools in. He gave me a ride in it once and i fell in love with . I have wanted one ever since.
I decided on a sedan because there is more room in them, and i can take more people for a ride. This tudor sedan is going to be a driver, that i can use and injoy.

• Overall Satisfaction:
Great car and easy to find good used and new parts for. Some people are concerned about Model A's overheating. I currently own and drive a 1929 Model A that does not and never has over heated. There are many reasons why a Model A could over heat and most of them are due to people not knowing how to drive, maintain or opererate them correctly. If you want to drive them at posted highway speeds, they will probably over heat. These are extremely fun vehicles to own and to drive if you take care of them. I currently own three Model A's and any problems I have are usually my own fault. I recently drove my 29 Model A on a trip over 560 miles and experienced no problems. I also have it "fine tuned" and can get 25 mpg with it. This is a totally stock Model A without modern improvements.

If the product is to far away to justify travel don't buy it at any price. My experiance is that there are more sellers out there that mis lead or fail to disclose the true of the product. Do not trust inspectors, see it for your self. They strip parts to sell individually until there is nothing left but rusted out shells. Primer and patch the product and take pictures at angles which fail to show the faults.
I have had to replace 90% of the body metal, all the sub frame, all the interior garnish, all door glass and regulators, manufacture metal braces which were not with the car and not available, Complete seats , all roof and body wood along with many additional items to numerous to count.

great car..be careful when you buy old iron though. many builders have their own view of what turn key is. lots of problems turned up on this car after purchase that would not be seen without spending time with the car.might not have purchased the car if I knew this..but such is life. I'm just lucky that I can make it right. If you decide to get a real old car, be prepared to service it regularly. they're not like modern cars and need constant tinkering.

the reason for a 1929 flat head to overheat would be improper timing advance....the timing on the early model a's is adjustable by the driver and since the car has no vacuum advance for the distributor timing old henry figured the driver should be able to set it based on if you were climbing a hill or just cruising the back roads...as the engine heated up you are supposed to adjust your timing back...any one who has ever rebuilt a muscle car engine can tell you that too little or too much timing will cook a motor to boiling....and while hardly a muscle car the same is true of the 65 horsepower flathead in a model a.
