What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I bought this 1928 Ford Model A Roadster because the price was too good to pass up. I may not have given it great numbers in is rating because there is alot of work that needs to be done with it. However, within a year to two those numbers will all be 5 for 5.

I bought a Model A Hot Rod about a month ago. Since it was located a great distance from, me I had it shipped.I should have been more weary of the poor quality photographs that didn't show much detail. The build quality of the car was poor which I blame on the seller. Everything was done on the cheap. He loved self tapping screws and silicone sealer which was used to attach the grill to the grill shell. So far I,ve spent about $4000 bringing the cars up to my standards and repairing safety issues.

I purchased the car because it was somthing I've always wanted, since my early teens, and it was inexpensive. I've always been told "spend your money up front" meaning at purchace, I should have listened. How ever I do enjoy working on it.What I have leared:

1 Communicate better with the seller, ask for more and better pictures.
2 If its located a great distance from you, get an inspection.
3 Figure the most you can spend, then bid on the best example of what you want.

My early 1828 model a sport coupe is a dream come true! It was purchased through ebay from a seller in northern Virginia who had obtained the car from the gentleman who had done the restoration. I have nothing but praise for the seller who was helpful and honest throughout the purchase process. The person who did the restoration spent a lot of dollars and countless hours in doing such a fantastic and thorough job of restoring a great little car!!
Oh, by the way, it took FIRST PLACE in its first antique car competetion!

This is an 80 year old car that was restored over 10 years ago. It has its flaws but I was aware of them prior to purchase. My ratings of 4/5 do not reflect the seller but rather the design and technology of the time. You either love or hate this kind of vehicle but you must admit it is fun to drive and you will increase your mechanical ability. If you just want a driver you need something modern. Of course part of the fun of owning this vehicle is the great people you meet. See how that works driving a Honda.

I have not left feedback on this because the car is just now on the road west from Mass. I bought it from a Sargent on a police force. He has been a dream to work with during the whole project. I bought it because it is in great shape, having been in his family since 1949. My 1st car was a 1928 Tudor Model A like this one. I was about 15 then, I am now almost 69. The former owner was wonderful about packaging up extra parts and sending them with the car. My comments on the above scale relate mostly to the car I owned as a teenager. All of my questions about this car were answered well and all the photo's I wanted to see were sent. It should be here in about 7-10 days. I waited because the weather in Mass. was just too cold to ship. He kept it garaged and was willing to hold it for me for as long as it took to safely transport it the 3000+ miles it has to go to get to me. It is a totally original, all steel car which was restored in about 1981. I also have a 1926 Model T Ford. I will enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks always to the former owner!!!! Dale
