1963 Ford Falcon: 1963 Falcon Futura Hardtop

12/07/07
• Overall Satisfaction:
I cannot claim to be unbiased as I am absolutely nuts for early Falcons, especially 63s. A great way to get into affordable yet fun hot rodding. Easy to find(though the hardtops are getting scarce)and get parts for. These cars allow a wide range of creativity and when your done you have a truly roadworhty relatively modern car that in light of it's light wieght can be made to move.I am just now finishing a total restoration/mild customization of a 63 Futura Hardtop(no post). It is 2 stage black with powdercoated red steel wheels, an all-new black(satin)/red interior and a host or drivetrain suspension and brake upgrades.I love my car and would reconmend one to anyone who wants to build an interesting fun to drive and rewarding project.

1963 Ford Falcon: 1963 Ford Falcon

• Overall Satisfaction:
I am an old Ford Freak. Especialy the ones from the 1960's. Since I allready have a week end Hot Rod that I am building I wanted a daily driver. It took me quite a while to get my fiance to understand my love for old Fords. When the Falcon came up for sale, suddenly she liked it. We went to see one localy. She would hardly get out of it even though it was a wreck. The one we bought was not local but the seller was rated very trustworthy. When it came time to bid I was ready to stop at a lower price and be outbid. She drove me to keep going. We had won the bid. Now she enjoys the car very much. What I like most about the 1960's Fords is that they are very reliable and simple to work on and it is getting easier to get any and all parts needed to maintain or rebuild. Or even update with suspension and breaks or any safety equipment. The best part is that thier value increases every year instead of decreases like any and all new vehicles. They are an investment in daily driving and not just something you spend an over rated amount of money on just to throw it away when you are done.

1963 Ford Falcon: Cool lowrider, and cruiser, turns heads, and lots of props

04/03/07
• Overall Satisfaction:
I Like the body style, and how all the windows roll down with no post, int the way. The 2 door Hardtop Falcon Futura surley stands out among the rest of Falcons, because the sport coupe, has a sleek yet tough looking body, that almost makes it look like a hotrod, but, also looks as smooth as a lowrider. The comfortability of the interior is relaxing and soothing when cruising, around town. Especially with all the windows rolled down.
