Its a great classic car for an affordable price. Its rare enough people are attracted to it at car shows unlike a chevelle or camaro. it turns heads wherever we go in it.

These cars can still be a bargain. All size mopar engines will fit and the styling is timeless. Thin roof line, pony car stance and light weight make these cars overall winners.

1967 Dodge Dart: best value in enjoyment vs cost

It has a smoother ride than my Toyota, believe it or not. It is a pure, simple car to upkeep and replace parts as needed. Mechanicals and easy to find. Interior and body less so, but not bad. I'll never sell mine, because I would never be able to buy one back later for what I sold it for - they are only going one way in price - up. It is more fun for the money than any other car I have owned, and wayyyy more reliable than the 72 Chevy I also tried to keep but sold after it put me in the poorhouse.

1964 Dodge Dart: Best Car Ever Made?

11/16/09
• Overall Satisfaction:
The Dodge Dart was one of the best values ever to be released on the American Highway. It's not a sports car, but it has plenty of get up and go. It's not a truck, but the trunk can hold a lot! It doesn't get great mileage, but it's not a huge muscle car guzzler either.

If you have a model with the legendary slant six 225, it will run FOREVER if properly maintained. It is one of those engines that can take a bullet and still drive 100 miles. Maybe farther, depending where the bullet hits.

Linked up to this reliable stalwart of American Engineering, is the legendary torque flight transmission. Almost 3 times as bullet proof as the motor. There are some on the road today that have never been serviced since 1964, and they are still functioning perfectly, as long as you keep tranny fluid in it!

The push-button automatic that came standard is a dream to drive. It's as if they had robbed ideas from our electric future.

Cleaned up, a Dart will also look excellent, and is the most fun you can have driving, short of a giant motor luxury sports car, like Porsche, Ferrari, or Lamborghini. But the Dart has more style!

1973 Dodge Dart: 1973 Dodge Dart

06/14/09(updated 06/14/09)
• Overall Satisfaction:
This car is a fantastic vehicle and a great find. Older vehicles are easy to maintain and inexpensive to repair. While the typically need extra love and attention, the feel I get from driving it could never be matched by a newer vehicle in this price range.
