1974 Chevrolet Nova

I liked the Big Block 454 option, fresh custom paint job, ralley wheels and very clean, original interior. CD player adds to the driving enjoyment.

The car would be a great car if in better condition.Our complaint is more about the seller misleading us and we filed a report with e-bay to see if we do something about buying something in poor condition that we would never had bought knowing this.Be very careful when buying because some people are out to cheat you and you have no backing to help you get your money back.This would have been a great project for someone with money but for our 16 year old it turned out to be more of a project than he can handle.

I was looking for a Nova because a 74 hatchback was the first car I had owned. I am now 50 yrs old. The seller was a wonderful person and very helpful. With the car came a long list of parts to fix it. Example:4 shocks, 4 brakes, universal possi-traction replacement. Everything I need to get this car where it need to be, all numbers match etc. But other than the interior the rest of the car is not as good as discribed. The "good paint" looks like it was put on with a paint brush, lots of sandpaper marks and extra bondo, lots of bondo,,did I mention bondo? The engine knocks and sputters without the good "pick-up". This could not have been a daily driver. But,since I was going to strip the car all the way down and come back up it doesnt matter. Most of the parts he sent are useable, for the money I spent it was well worth the deal. I went into the deal looking for something I could build into something nice, this is it. 2008 up date...let me rethink about this good deal... I would say the car in a junk yard or under a tree for about 10 yrs.. half the trunk what gone, patched by aluminum rivits and bondo.lots of bondo. all the fenders were gone 1/3 way down..i mean gone except for aluminum and bondo. the engine that was un touched.. had been bore out so many times it could even be honed correctly. There are some nice things about this car. I am having fun redoing it.BUT it was not as described or worth the money I spent.
