My First Impala. Long and lean. Like a dinosaur with class. Very comfortable and cool. Can't wait to hit the open road. This has the straight 6 engine so it starts right up nice and easy. Not a powerhouse of course. Very Kool.

i have an issue regarding my purchase. I paid in full the $4000 i owe for the vehicle january 22 2012, now i am not able to contact the owner of vehicle to verify he recevied my cashiers check. I am concerned that i might be involved in a scam

yes this is one of the only real station wagons ever made,v8 engine,no fuel injection,no abs brakes or other gimmiks that become electrical cancer to an antique car as it ages,rear wheel drive,power glide away tail gate,thick metal,thick glass,no smog equipment,they are the last word in greatness at its pinnacle,1971 thru 1976 full size G.M. before jimmy carter and the us government walked into American car factories and told them how to build cars for EPA, fuel mileage,like other government agencies the quality went on a different course from there on...we got hunks of junk like the dodge aries K car,the ford tempo,the chevette,and other fine junk like the front wheel drive 2.8 liter gm s worst uggggh cars that even make the sound uuuuuggggghhhhh as they drive by usually with all the hub caps missing and the EPA government paintjob scalling off like Eczema...

Very reliable and quick. No leaks on car. Starts everytime you turn the key. I picked up from Chicago, Il. and drove home to Memphis, TN. with no problems.

I bought this car thinking I could fix it up not for a show car but for a car I could fix up and drive around. What I did not like was the numerous missing parts, sun visors,heater assembly missing no heater core not heater blow and no duct assembly, there were also numerous bolts missing out of front bumper and relater parts with 24 bolts missing out of fenders and liners.the front turn signals do not work bad sending unit in steering column, no gear shift indicator on front steering column The wiring on dash is trashed with numerous wires hanging loose and hanging down and cut.The car was advertised with no rust but the trunk has two holes in it.

I made this purchase because I have alway's wanted a SS in our family and I wanted a Safe Reliable vehicle for my wife to drive.
My only dismay with this 08 SS is I did not know it came with factory Low Profile Tire's and they are very expensive.No you can not put cheaper tire's on it :(
Other than that there is no comparison. It is sleak fast and comfortable.
And I got it at a awsome price on eBay ..
