Looking for a close to original 69 lemans blue 307 camaro with white stripe around the nose. It was a 2 speed powerglide transmission and I bought it new in 69. It has a black interior with am radio. No air conditioner.

I love the body style and originality. However the paint on the exterior has several defects and there are many spots inside that were very poorly touched up with paint. I thought it would be better than a "20 footer", but that's what I got! The car is very nice, but I think I paid too much. One big issue I had was that the VIN # on the auction page DID NOT MATCH THE VIN ON THE CAR! Fortunately it matched the title, but I almost had heart failure. So I would watch things like that if I were you. You live, you learn!

1969 Chevrolet Camaro: Buyer Beware. Not as Described, Seller Dishonest

This 69 Camaro was advertieed as Stunning and with an 80K restoration, had no rust and
a show winner. The pictures were good but deceiving. Got the car off the trailer to find a real POS.
Major oil leaks, Poor paint details,Steering misalignment, big chips in the paint. Due to the seller
representing this car I paid twice what it is worth.

I have been on e bay for 8 years and this waqs the worst car experience I have ever experienced!!!

1969 Chevrolet Camaro: Vehicle was not as described in the e bay add. Rust/ROT

Vehicle was not as described in the e bay add.

What I loved about the vehicle is that it was a 69 Camaro and it had solid floor to start with, I did not complete the purchase because the seller wanted to cancel the purchase because they said I didn’t have enough money with me. I did not complete the transaction because the seller lied about the description and the parts that went with the vehicle (Camaro). I took a loan against my CD and rented a Trailer I had all of the funds in my Pocket but when I saw the Camaro was not as described I did not complete the transaction. I asked the seller to take less because of the lies and he said no I then made another higher offer and he said no to a higher offer. I then watched the Camaro be offered and do less on the ebay auction and I believe it sold for less or at my offering price. I asked ebay to return my $125.00 dollars down payment and they sided with the lieing seller so I not buy on ebay again until I look at all items before I bid or Purchase any ITEMS FROM EBAY. Ebay should have looked at how this was handled. The doors were roted and the seller said they were repairable parts, 1/4 Panels were patch panels not 80% Repair panels like the seller stated in the add and the second add he changed his wording because he lied. AND HE SOLD IT FOR 3500 DOLLARS AND I OFFERED THAT TWICE TO MAKE THE DEAL RIGHT

Thanks LennZ28

Motorcity, used cars told us this car needed nothing, the crooks at the transport company sain this car is perfect. We got it home and the front tires rubbed, headlights didnt work, shocks were so bad you couldnt drive it,radio didnt work and had no wires to it.Under the dash was rusted and looked like it was under water, the bumper was missing bolts and not lined up,the doors wouldnt open because the hinges were so worn out the door would drop when you opened it.The kick down on trans isnt hooked up.Itried to talk to motorcity and they wouldnt return my phone calls or email.bad thing was my 16 year old saved his money for 4 years to bye it.dont buy from moter city in Washington

1969 Chevrolet Camaro: Calssic cars on ebay

01/08/10
• Overall Satisfaction:
I needed a project 1969 Camaro to complete my Camaro collection. I looked on eBay several times before the vehicle I found was listed. I have bought several cars on eBay with no regrets. The seller that sold this particular car has the same taste as I do. I liked the accessories that he bought for the vehicle and appreciated the details that were listed with the car. The can was not finished so it fit my request perfectly. The work that was completed on the car was of high quality and craftsmanship and with the pictures provided I was pleasantly surprised when the car arrived that it was better that what I expected. eBay is the best!
